If it anything like my Husqvarna 372 you will have to remove the external wrap around handle and undo all the other screws that hold the fuel tank. The motor and fuel tanks are seperate. (look on partstree.com. There is also a screw that has to be removed on the chain side. This will let you gently seperate the fuel tank (needs to be pulled apart on the right angle) and motor that will then give you easy accrss to the back anti vibration spring. Watch when seperationg the you do not pull out the fuel line or throttle cable. Easy job it took me longer how to do it.

How do I replace fuel line on my Husqvarna 136/141 Chainsaw

This is not as easy as it sounds, this machine uses a micro bore hose which is an interference fit in the tank, to replace it you will need to remove the fuel tank from the saw, to do this start by removing the guide bar and chain, remove the three screws securing the top cover and remove, remove the two screws holding the air filer and remove, remove the two 10mm nuts hloding the filer back plate and remove, remove the two 7mm head boltssecuring the carb, remove the two cross head screws securing the metal bracket against the carb, lift the carb away with the throttle wire and choke pull attached, diss conect the fuel hose, now remove the four screws holding the starter cover on, two screws are self tapping and go into the plastic cranlcase the other two are machine screws and go into the anti vib mounts, when replacing make sure they go back in the same holes in the starter cover, on the other side of the saw remove the 4mm allen screw securing the chain catcher in the bottom r/h side of the saw, this also screws into an anti vibe mount, remove the cross head screw at the top l/h side of the saw and remove the orange plastic square cover, the fuel tank will now drop out of the bottom of the saw with the top handle still connected,pull the old fuel hose out through the the fuel filler hole with the filter still connected, ncut a point on one end of the new fuel hose and push down through the top of the tank, grab with a pair of long nose pliers through the filler hole and pull the hose in, trim the end and re fit the filter, allow enough hose to allow the filter to move around in the tank, re fit the tank and securing screws, re build in reverse of diss assembly.

I have a husqvarna 345 run for a few cuts then stops.

either blocked fuel filter in the fuel tank ( hook out and replace ) or the fuel tank breather is blocked thus causing a vacume in the tank, to prove this, when the saw starts to die slacken off the filler cap, this will allow air into the tank and it should pick up again, the breather is pressed into the tank on the r/h side rear.

Unable to locate adjustment control for chain oiler model 345 husqvarna chainsaw

Not all 345 machines had an adjustable oiler, it is retro fittable if it does not, however if it hs an adjuster, the screw is located on the bottom of the saw between the cranckcase and the fuel tank, just below the sprocket, there will be an oil symbol and a - and + sign there, the pump is three position, for 13/15/18" bars.

Check out the oil tank filter, it is on the base of the oil take, it is a grey cover held with a single cross head screw, you ban get a screw driver between the fuel tank and the crankcase to remove it.

Removal of gas tank housing from husqvarna 41 chainsaw

Removal of the tank is not too difficult,start by removing the guide bar and chain, remove the top cover of the saw, now remove the fuel hose from the carb, remove the four screws retaining the starter cover, here you will have two self tapping screws, and two machine screws, the machine scres go into the anti vibe mounts, be sure to get these the correct way around when re building, now turn the saw over, remove the allen screw securing the chain catcher at the bottom corner of the crankcase, this scrtews into the front anti vibe mount, now remove the screw at the top rear of the crankcase, ans remove the small orange plastic cover, this screw goes into the rear anti vibe mount, now pull the whole tank assemblt down and away from the saw, there is no need to remove the top handle, this will come away with the tank.

335 335XPT Husqvarna No oil to chain. Oil flows out bottom behind bar plate.

The pick up pipe from the oil tank conects onto a nipple on the back of the bar pad, i wouls guess the pipe has come off, the later machine had a clip around the hose to keep it on, if you take away the two front anti vibe mount screws you can open the pad away from the tank enough to grab the pipe and push it back on.

How do you take the head of the engine

Depends on what model we are talking about, if it is a 340/345/350 you need to remove the fuel tank, the cylinder bolts are on the bottom of the crankcase, the crank is sanwiched between the cylinder and the tank assembly, so it is a full strip down to remove the cylinder.

Is there a hose that attaches to gas tank vent on husqvarna 345 e chainsaw

You can find an answer to your question here:
HusqvarnaUSA.com
http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Uncheck "Manuals" check "Illustrated parts lists"
I think your answer is on detail "J"
pns 503 60 04-01 and 501 62 98-01.
All fuel system components can be found on these illustrations. I wish Husqvarna included nomenclatures but they don't. Your local Husky may be able to verify by telephone these are indeed your fuel vent.

Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – for use with IPL
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

It might be a good idea to save a copy of both your Manual and the IPL to your computer. HTH
