My Samsung intercept won't load past the flashing Samsung so I was trying to factory hard reset it and it won't even do that I attached a photo of what it says

Hi Latonya,
When a Samsung cell phone becomes unresponsive or when the device slows to a crawl, a reset may be in order. There are two primary methods used to reset the phone. Users should always start with the soft reset when the phone locks up or programs slow down due to memory or software response issues. A soft reset is akin to a reboot of the machine and usually solves most problems without any loss of user data. A hard, or master, reset is required when the phone completely locks up and becomes unresponsive to any cellular signals. This second and more drastic reset deletes all personal data, preferences and settings so that the device is restored to the original factory configuration.
Perform a Soft Reset
Step 1 Press and hold the power button for 10 to 20 seconds.
Step 2 Release the power button and tap the "Power Off" option under the "Device Options" menu that appears. Tap "OK" to initiate the shutdown.
Step 3 Press the power button again to restart the device.
Perform a Hard (Master) Reset
Step 1 Tap the "Menu" key from the home screen and then tap "Settings."
Step 2 Go to "Privacy" and tap "Factory Data Reset" to review the Factory Data Reset information.
Step 3 Review the Factory Reset options. Place a check next to "Format USB Storage" to clear your device of user data, such as music, pictures and other account settings.
Step 4 Review the disclaimer and verify your changes before tapping "Reset phone."
Step 5 Tap the "Erase Everything" or "Yes" buttons to confirm the reset the phone to factory settings. The device initiates the restoration process to the original factory configuration.
Perform an Alternative Soft Reset
Step 1 Power off the phone. If the phone does not turn off, remove the back cover of the phone and take out the battery. Wait between 10 and 30 seconds and then replace both the battery and the cover to restart the device.
Step 2 Simultaneously hold down the power/lock keys.
Step 3 Release the keys when the Android screen appears.

Samsung factory reset

Check the buttons on the tv itself and make sure the volume up button is not stuck. Samsung.com is not showing a tv with that model number. There may be a software update for that tv so check the model number again and check their site.

My son forgot his security pin and wants to change his sim.. model: 1110i type: RH-93 imei 356450019605655

hello,Hi,you can make use of either soft reset, hard reset or factory settings.
Soft Reset
Soft Reset will clear pending errors and bring your mobile to an initial state by restoring Factory setting. To operate this function on your mobile, the shortcut is: *#7380#

This function apparently works on almost all nokia mobile phones.
Hard Reset
It may happen that despite you have restored your mobile to factory setting, the error still exist. In this case, it is recommended that you opt for Hard reset
Enter the code: *#7370# and press Yes to confirm initialization.
Important Notice:
It is recommended that you save all important information on your phone (e.g: memo, contacts etc)
To make a Hard Reset on a Nokia phone that is not willing to turn on, just press simultaneously these 3 buttons:
press on/off
+ * + 3whenever you forget your security code the only option left to keep making use of the phone is to format it and the steps to take in the formation is to follow them below,
1.MENU
2.SETTINGS
3.RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS
4.YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ENTER PHONES FACTORY DEFAULT CODE
5.12345 OR 00000

wish you good luck,

take care.

I would like to restore my phone to factory settings a i think they have been changed accidently by my son as i phoned my operater and accessed my settings for the internet but i still cant get it to work

Hi there,

Is your phone a Nokia?

To restore a Nokia to factory settings you must first turn off your phone.

Then press the following buttons simultaneously (at the same time):

Power button + * + 3

This will jumpstart your phone and will turn on as if were turned on the first time coming straight out of the box.

This will format everything on your phone (messages, contacts, files and the like) so I would advise you to back up anything important that you would need later on.

If you have a memory card in your phone, take it out prior to formatting the Nokia as both the phone and memory card will be formatted in the factory resetting process.

Hope I have been of assistance to you,

Cheers :)

Check message centre number on your SMS settings. Sometimes ingoing/outgoing on different numbers , depending on where you are. Your dealer will be able to give you the required numbers, or maybe even reset it for you!! Let me know if this doesn't work and we can do a few other things ;]
