I have a Axim x50v. After changing the battery,

I think your device is trying to perform the hard reset procedure. Try to soft reset it, instead, by briefly inserting the stylus pen in the reset pin (on the back of the device). If the hard reset procedure keeps coming in, I'm afraid you'll have no other option than accepting it, by pressing the left key.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

You might need to hard reset it or update your Dell Axim x50

Problem dell x50v {align screen}

A problem I have seen countless times on the DELL pocket PCs. Check the corners of where the touchscreen go UNDERNEATH the plastic housing. Sometimes when dust or debris collect here, your touchscreen has a difficult time calibrating.

Blue screen with dell logo??

This is usually called the "Blue Screen of Death" and the system tries to dump memory

See if you can Read any of the text which may detail the error

Try starting it in safe mode by tapping F8 every few seconds during startup

If it starts post back and i'll tell you how to use system restore

If it still fails then call in an Engineer

Landscape screen

your hardware slide sensor is probably broken.  go to start>settings, tap the screen tap at the bottom, tap the screen applicaton, change orientation to "landscape".  your phone will be permanently in landscape mode, which is better anyway, since the screen rotation is annoying as hell.
