Solution 1 will get you close if the saw dosn't work but Solution 2 is the final fix for all saws. Once the saw is running I fine tune it under a load. I usually set a few pieces of wood 12"dia aside for testing. I start a slice close to the end about an inch deep or just deep enough to keep to saw from jumping too badly. While cutting as much as possible without stalling and the throttle wide open I tune high mix (H). There might be some risk since I am not using both hands to hold the saw but I anticipate the worst and keep my face and body away from the plane of the saw blade. Low mix is just a balencing act between the lowest you can set mix and throttle stop and still keep the saw running without the chain moving or aid from the trigger. I've been able to turn some small saws (and others) into monsters and that's what we're after!

My 260 stihl pro is giving me trouble with a lot of oil leak. It doesn't have strength, when I try to cut with it, it just goes off.
