Frigidaire Gallery Heavy Duty Front Load Dryer problem
We have a Frigidaire Gallery front load dryer which has a couple of issues- it squeals loudly sometimes continually and sometimes randomly. Also, clothes get what look like burn marks even when running on low heat or just air cycles. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Your dryer drum front support glides and rear drum bearing needs to be replaced, parts are not expensive but labor to do the job may be $50 to $100 dollars.
You should call Frigidaire customer help line just to gather some info from them. 1-800-FRIGIDAIRE
Good luck !
You could have a belt that is slipping on the heavy load of clothes when you first start the dryer, if so you may need to replace your belt.
Your problem sounds like drum rollers is in need of lubrication. If you have a front loading machine, Unplug the dryer, remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers. Check your rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them. If they don't then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem. Good Luck, I hope this helps
The front felt drum seal may be bad. It is attached to the front panel, around the door.
Check and or replace the rear drum support it has worn down the ball and cup support. It will soon begin making a grinding/squealing noise.
When it wears and drops down the gap is greater at the front around the felt seal. Laundry gets caught in the gap and scorches.
The identification label from a Frigidaire Gallery Commercial Heavy Duty Moisture Sensor drier has come off. I need to download operating/user manual. How can I get the serial no. or model no. The drier is 4 years old.
