How do I set the date and time on my Cyber-shot DSC-W210 camera

Press the MENU button, select Setup (toolbox icon), select Setup-2, then select "Clock Set".

The date and time are stored with every picture when you take it. To print it, please refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using. Depending on the program and printer, you may put the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

The date stamp will only work when the camera's resolution is set to postcard mode. Press Func/set, scroll down to the bottom, then across to the icon with the clock and mountain. It will say "postcard". Press Func/set again. Then press Menu, scroll down to "Date stamp" and across to select date or date and time, then press menu again

It's highly unlikely a virus is on your camera. Try using a separate card reader to download your pictures.

Turn on the camera
select a setting item with up or down arrow
select date and time format
select daylight savings
then set date & time

Follow the procedures given below to have a perfect fix for your problem.

• Press Menu button.

• Toggle across from REC Mode to setup

• Toggle down thrice from camera to setup 1

• Toggle across into sub menu

• Toggle down from four times to Initialize

• Toggle across again to the sub-menu

• Toggle up from cancel to OK

• Press center button to accept the OK choice

• Screen changes and so press okay again

• It should restart the camera

• Opening on the 'Clock Set' screen

Toggle down to cancel and use the camera and make sure that you have the camera to flash, if it works try again in the Auto function. If it is still not working dont worry follow the steps again two or three more times, As this is related to a software error message and not a hardware malfunction. If it is working then don't forget to set your Clock.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

after you input date and time, move to 'ok', then press 'set'

Press Menu and go to setup, set date and time option to adjust it.
