I have error code 0xc05d1281 what does this mean?

This error means "Ink System Failure"
And it means that something went wrong in the ink manager internal printer software.
Try removing all the ink cartridges and then power off and on again the printer
If it asks for inserting the cartridges insert them one by one and see if the error appears, in that case the thing that provoke that error is that specific ink cartridge.
So change the specified ink cartridge.

If you didn't solve with this procedure maybe the printhead failed to do a specified operation, or anyway the printer have a specific error on the mainboard and need assistance

Let me know ;)

This could be because of residue on the Printhead electrical contacts

Try the steps below and it should help.

Turn off the Printer.

1. Open the Carriage access door.
2. Remove the Cartridges
4. Move the carriage from left to right 6 times and it should move freely
5. Clean the contacts on the Cartridge with lint free cloth. ( Golden dots )
6. Turn on the printer and it should say " Cartridge missing or need to be reinstalled "
7. Install the Cartridges and close the Carriage door
8. the printer should go through alignment process

Ink failure error OXc05d1281

Reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color buttons at the same time and turn the 3310 off. You should keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and then turns itself back on. Turn the printer off twice for the printer to recalibrate. Make sure you have new cartridges in the printer so that it can reset.

Ink System Failure with error code: 0xc05d1281 BEWARE SPAMMERS AT v1-800-532-4187

I had the same problem and took Guru NinaE advice....1. Unplug power cord from back of printer while it is on. 2. Wait for 60 seconds after it is in sleep mode. 3. Press and hold "Print Photos" and "Red Eye Removal" at the same time and while holding the two buttons down, plug in the power cord into the back of the printer. 4. The printer display should go blank or Reset might show up on the display. When this happens, touch the ON button and the printer will reset itself.
