Either the buttons on the TV or Remote are jammed. Just remove the batteries from the remote and see whether it still flickers. If yes, the problem is dust collection inside the TV panel buttons/switches. Might require thorough vacuum cleaning, after switching off the TV and removing the plug from the power outlet. If it still does not help, this might require attention by a qualified service technician
The unit has a fault on its power board and sustain board. It turns off because the sensor is preventing some component from bacoming overheated and catching fire or damaging further components. Seel professional repair.
Check the fuse in your mains plug first. If this is ok , then you will need to remove the rear cover of the TV & check the fuse on the power supply board. If this is faulty & should blow again at swiitch on, then there is a short circuit on the power board & would be best to take it to a repair centre as there will be components that have short-circuited due to the electrical surge.
