Question about Dell Inspiron 1300 Notebook
My notebook, laptop has stopped shutting down to go into stand by when I close it. Why has it stopped doing that? Is it a switch or maybe another problem? It's an Inspiron 1300 about 2 years old.
It could be the switch, but most likely it's just a glitch. Try a system restore, you may have to go back a couple of restore points, but this should clear it up. If it doesn't, get back with me and I'll walk you through the settings for this. If you want to try the settings yourself, you can find them in the display properties, screen saver tab, power button towards the bottom, and you will find settings for for stand by.
