Looks like it's the fuel filter in the tank, the filter will be in the tank at the end of the line.

get a stiff wire, make a hook at the end and fish for the fuel line that has the fuel filter.

you will have two fuel lines in the tank one has a fuel filter, that's the one you want,

once you remove the fuel filter, submerge the fuel line in the gas, and primer the bulb

if the bulb gets full of fuel, theirs your problem, sometimes the filter can be cleaned

with an air compressor, but sometimes its so dirty that it,s better replaced to prevent

further problems. good luck!

I was driving along and the motor just quit I tried to restart, it would crank but not start there is enough fuel, the vehicle is about 10 yrs old

You have two possible areas to check - fuel or electrical systems.

Is fuel getting to the engine? It is possible you have a clogged fuel filter OR a dead fuel pump. To check it, disconnect the fuel line from the injector system at the engine, and have someone "bump" the starter to see if fuel comes out. If it does the pump is working but perhaps not with sufficient pressure to run the engine. Checking that requires special tools, a job for a pro.

Is there ignition spark from the sparkplugs? Try pulling one of the plugs out of the engine, and lay it on the engine block in direct contact with the metal and have someone try to start the engine. If you see a spark jump the gap on the plug, you have spark. If it does work, try each sparkplug, and if there is positive spark on all cylinders it is possible the ignition timing is bad or maladjusted. In this case unless you know what you are doing it is better to have a pro mechanic work on it.

Trouble shoot polan pro chainsaw

Use a cheap spark checker to check for spark. To check for fuel issue, squirt some carb cleaner down carb and see if it hits. If it does, you know you have spark and the problem is in the fuel supply.

Scag zero turn 52"deck tiger mower

If you have spark, compression, and fuel to the carb but not at the plug. You have a clogged carb. Try starting with starting fluid, if it fires briefly, your carb needs to be removed and cleaned.

Poulan Pro - won't start after quitting

Hi, unfortunatley you have partially siezed the chainsaw. You will still feel some compression with your thumb but the rings will be siezed in the piston. Hence no fuel transfer to the sparkplug. Sorry Phil.

My 06 gsxr 750 will not start. New battery, getting fuel, replaced old fuel and bike will not turn over. What can I do to check if is getting spark?

if the bike will not turn over you mean it doesnt crank? because if it doesnt crank over then its a starter issue and could be a simple as a blow fuse, but then why did the fuse blow? ( starter going bad)..... or it could be the starter solenoid itself, and this is where i believe you might find the fuse. response feedback appreciated.

Titan tg9000es generator won't start. It has good spark, so I suspect the carburetor. It's a HUAYI P27. No idea where to start on this beast.

When you are pull starting or cranking over the engine with choke on due you smell any fuel (Flooding of the Engine) if not then try removing the sparkplug use a small amount of gas and pour into cylinder. Reinstall the spark plug and try starting if it starts briefly then dies it is most likely fuel. Check filter and fuel lines (rubber fuel lines grow weak and can collapse not allowing the fuel to pass. If It doesn't start check the compression by placing your thumb over the spark plug hole if there is little push back the you have a compression problem should then verify with a compression tester. Overhauling the engine then might be necessary. I hope this was helpful, please give a rating if the answer was of help. Good luck and have a great weekend.

I fitted a new sensor and my bike does not start at all after fitting. Before I fitted the new sensor, I took it to Truimph and they had it on the dianostics and they told me to fit a new sensor. It also...

Thanks for your feedback. When you say "It also smells madly fuel when I start the bike." does the bike start?
I'm going to assume not.
I don't know much about Fuel Injection but there is three things motors need to run - compression, fuel and spark. It sounds like you have compression and fuel, so we need to check for spark.
Chances are the plugs are simply fouled with gas. You can simply buy new plugs (esp if they're old) or check the existing ones for spark.
CHECK FOR SPARK The best way is to remove all of the sparkplugs, re-connect them to their wires, rest the threads against a good ground. Turn the motor over and look for a good fat white spark.
If no spark, make sure all 'safety' switches are in a start position (side stand up, neutral, kill switch on etc.)
Good lcuk & let us know!
Be sure to put a dab of neversieze on the sparkplug threads when re-installing.

8 HP Briggs won't run.

Hi First check compression.Turn the switch on OFF position.Remove the sparkplug.Put your thumb at the sparkplug hole and opperate the starter. If the compression preassure blows your thumb off the hole the compression is adequate for the engine to run.In your situation if the generator has good compression there is a fuel delivery problem to find and fix.Check and clean the carb, fuel lines, fuel filter, gas cap tank vent(not to be clogged),check the air filter. If you need any other suggestions feel free to ask.Merry Christmas! regards savumihai71
