Jasjar-no sound-after spilled water on it.

Accidentally spilled water on Jasjar. It was off and I let dry out for 1 day before trying it. Everything works except the sound. With or without the ear plugs..Nothing!

I think you still have a good (not 100%) chance of saving it. It usually takes much longer than 1 day to dry out electronics that are still intact. I would open it up and let it dry. Otherwise, see if have a nerdy friend who has access to a non-humidified incubator and leave it in there for a few days. (that's how I salvaged a phone that went through the wash!)

How do I fix my jitterbug phone after spilling water on it?

Hi,
You can try to put it in a bag full of rice and let it there for a few dayw to dry it up. After a few days, try to turn it on.
Don't turn it on before that though.

Htc 8s water damaged?

It is a water demage - with using to quickly you made it bad, I guess with pressing the screen you moved the water.

I would say ... give it another dry (smile)

Open the rear, take the batterie out ... mean let the mobile breath ... then leave it on a warm, but not hot place ... it has to stay on the side. We want that the water in the case vabours troughthrough the side buttos within the time.

If your BlackBerry gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.
1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

when ever your phone has been submerged, u must always turn it off straight away, take the back off and allow to dry for several days, do not put in tumble dryer! if a problem still persists then yes u will have to change circuit board, could be very costly, could also try ebay

1. Chk whether ur battery is full.. If not try charging fully and then try it.
2. Try to dry your phone in sun, and then try it switching on.
