I have some issues with my Royal Professional Cappuccio. Firstly, when pressing either the small or the normal coffee buttons no coffee actually comes out of the machine? You can hear the machine grinding the beans, the prebrew message appears and the normal clicking sounds, also you actually see on the lcd screen the coffee cup filling up (although quite quicking?) but no coffee? FYI, the large coffee function works well!
What can be done to correct this? Please advise.

there is a small measuring device between the grinder and the brewer, that measures grind coffee flowing into the brewer. the brewer is the removable part on the right side of the machine.
it looks like that the measuring device is clocked or in worse case broken!.
1.open the door on the right side
2. remove carefully the brewer/brew unit
3. clean it under warm running water
4. clean out the surrounding area, coffee pan etc.
5. check the measuring device for clocked coffee. it is square, has a small flap and easy to access with the door open. take a soft brush and clean the area, there might be a lot of ground coffee!
6. carefully re-insert the brewer acc. to manual, do not force in place.
7. close the door and use the unit.
you might also remove all beans and clean the burrs, the ground coffee outlet and check that it is free and not clocked as well. otherwise no ground-coffee will reach the measuring device!
he pump presses hot water through the grind not steam.
if the coffee is hot and hot water is dispensed, your line are clocked.
descale the machine as directed.
if coffee is cold the heat element is toasted. very unlikely though, since the machine will not dispens coffee, pump running if correct temperature is not reached.
Do you know how to reset the amount of the cup amount. I have a different saeco model but this mite help. Press the button for a coffee and keep it pressed in this is how you reset the level on mine when you release the button it resets the level.
hi there, the small flakes are bits of lime scale from your boiler system, to fix/ reduce flakes/particles complete a de-scale cycle on your machine using de-scaler. water hardness- set on 1 will change the length of time before it will ask you to de-scale the machine. Note- hardness 1 is the max time length. hope this helps
Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button. If that didn't fix it you might have a bad flow meter.

I have a Royal coffee Bar and to retrieve menue, hold down the button to the right of the small coffee button, if you look above the button you will see a line running upward to "ENT" above the small coffee button is "esc" and use the medium and large buttons for up or down arrows.
I ma not usre if it is the same setup, however from the pictures it looks identical except my machine has single boiler.
