Because you have a gas dryer, your problem is probably caused by the ingition panel.Generally, with a gas dryer, there is an ignition device that heats to a specific temperature and this causes the gas to ignite. When this electric ignition fails to work, the gas will not ignite and there will be no heat. I had this happen and had to call a professional. It was a simple matter of installing a new ignition device and it worked perfectly for years. I hope this helps! If it is a new dryer, check to see if this part might be covered under warranty. If this helps solve your problem, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice

Kenmore Gas Dryer does not dry clothes.

If this is the electric version then after 15 years you probably need a new heating element, they are not difficult to install and are not terribly expensive as a DIY project.

Dryer heats, tumbles clothes, blows air out exhause vent, but wont dry clothes

what type is this electric or gas? have you removed the exsaust from the wall and ran a load like this? if you have heat and this is an electric dryer it sounds like you have a blockage in your house. if the dryer runs fine without the exsaust attached then that is your problem. let me know

Won't dry clothes

Try running the dryer with the vent pipe unplugged. There should be a lot of hot air coming out, if not the insides need to be cleaned. If it really moves air, and dries a load ok unhooked, your vent is clogged. Clean it if you can. If you can't, look into a lint trap that will work for your situation, some have a water trap, some are good filters, etc. If the air is not hot, some of the electric element may be bad. If it's gas, it could need a tune up and cleaning inside.

My kenmore 70 series dryer will not dry clothes, but it does heat up inside and lets hot air out the dryer vent on the outside of the house.

make sure the dryer vent and the house vent are not clogged with lint this will slow down the drying process-mike

Kenmore 70 Series

You probably have an open thermal fuse, the dryer will run in some cases and not heat, Just moving air across you clothes will dry them however it takes forever.

If you are electrical or mechanical replace the thermal fuse yourself if not call someone you trust, you can purchase thermal fuses on line from Sears.com just do a parts search for you specific dryer.
