This beep is an indication that your computer has a hardware failure. Try to remember if the beep sounds like a specific pattern , and then refer to the manufacturer's website to diagnose that pattern.

How do you turn on a Samsung R730 NP-R730-JA02US?

does it beep when it goes to black screen? if so it could be a B
IOS problem count the beeps and look up your computers BIOS system on another computer. The beeps indicate certain issues. Some of them are easily solved others are better left to a pro.If you have no beeps then it may be a burnt out power pack. If it's a desk top it's easy to fix. If it's a lap top is a little harder. Either way both if you have never opened a computer can be scary, Get a techy to look at it if you don't feel comfortable with tackling this.
Hope this helps a little

Dell loud fan noise

Is the computer completing post? This is indicated normally by a single beep after the power button is turned on. On most computers the beep is proceeded by a post screen with the manufactures logo. If the computer is not getting this far, unplug everything but the memory and video. This should cause the computer to give a no hard drive or OS error. If not pull all the memory, this should cause the computer to give a series of beeps (because there is no memory installed). If this does not work either, you could have a bad mother board or power supply.

Hope this helps

My Philips SBP1100 speaker' volume is not loud enough

Were they ever loud? If they weren't (which is my guess - judging by the picture) is that they are low wattage which essentially means that they are not intended to be loud. They are most likely to be used as a small compact, low-noise speaker for a smal MP3 player where high (club-vloume) wattage/volume is needed. If they used to be loud check the volume control on your laptop and check each and every setting that there is. One stupid little setting could be a big difference. Audio Properties in the control pannel could be helpful but don't mess with those settings in the control pannel unless you are almost positive as to what they are and what they do. You could cause yourself a bigger problem. Remember that most laptop speaker outputs are actually for headphones and are not intended to go super-high as they are designed for headphones and not to hurt ears at high volumes. Hope this helps. If not try checking back with me. Best of luck. Bonne chance!

Lap top bungle

try accessing the operating system via safe mode (F8 on startup) if it opens, then your friends maybe installed a driver that conflicts with your system video driver. if this doesn't solve the glitch, reinstalling the operating system might do the trick.
