if you cannot install the sound driver, then the next best solution is
Buy
"USB Sound Card"
from Ebay for 1$
connect it to the USB port and connect the sound cables to the audio port in that....
it will get back ur sound...
Have you tried installing the drivers for the touchpad?
The link below will take you to the driver download page for your laptop, scroll down to the section for touchpad and install either the windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit drivers.
change it to xp service pack3
and still problem continues it is due to the audio port connection
device not being recognized plz repair it using your warranty.....
