SCH-u740 Hi Keemo68, thanks so much, however, no buttons work on the phone, it doesn't respond to any button being pressed. Is there not a way I can open the phone up and hit a reset button? Even my three past BlackBerry's have simple reset buttons, this one must somewhere.

Ok one last shot i can think of is if you take the back cover off remove the battery and the sim card. if there is a reset button it should be there. that is all i can think of. one other thing is did she maybe hit the keypad lock by accident?

There must be a solution to this very common problem, WHAT IS IT???
Please help me, I just want to know where to take it for repair or directions how I can do it myself and where can I find replacement parts. Come on, maybe Samsung should recall the SCH-U740 and take on the costly $amount$. After purchasing the SCH-u740 Cellular Phone consumers should not have to pay for expert advice, thats what customer service and satisfaction is all about.
if u bring it back to the verizon store they should replace it but since u bought it used from probably a friend or something im not sure - u can bring it back regardless but ull probably have to pay for it
