Top loading washer will not spin

My top loading frigidair FWX6968HWO will not spin

Sometimes this can happen when the connector from the transmission to the drive of the agitator is broken and needs to be replaced.Similar to the drive shaft of a rear wheel drive v-8 car!

Could have sounded like a knock,knock,knock or klack, klack,klack before it happened.
OR sometimes there is no warning at all.
How old is it?
If its 9 years old or more and it's the transmission or any other expensive repair, I would then advice not to put good money into bad and cut your loses. The new machines are so energy inefficient that they can pay for them selves in only a few years!
Less water, gas, electricity, and detergent!!

Frigidaire top-load washer Loud noise during spin


its either the upper spin bearing or lower spin bearing. the upper can be replaced by itself but the lower requires the transmission the be replaced
