I have a Samsung DC68-02683A washing machine. It was working perfectly fine earlier and now will not turn on - there is no power. I unplugged it and left it off for upwards of an hour. It will not power on whatsoever. No lights, no nothin' - and because of this, it will not open the door so my blanket is stuck in the machine! I don't believe it ever went through a cycle, either. Help please!

Check the power supply/fuse in the first place. If the supply is right then the problem is of the door. Try to push the door a bit hard and try to open the door. When the machine is switched off the door has to open, find out if it is not stuck. Finally if things dont go your way call a mechanic.

Christine Waters Thanks! We turned off the power at the circuit. The dryer is on the same outlet and it's fine. And I don't believe it's just the door, because the machine will not turn on at all. I think I'm going to have to call a mechanic which is what I'm really wishing I didn't have to do. :( Thanks for your response.
