You need the Microsoft Office program that includes PowerPoint.

Try reinstalling the Microsoft Powerpoint program.

You would need to install Microsoft Office 2007. It comes with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. If you do not have the installation disc for Microsoft Office 2007, I suggest you buy one.

Microsoft Powerpoint is not a free programme. It can form part of Office.

PowerPoint is not a free program. If you only want a viewer for PowerPoint 2007, you can download it for free from the Microsoft WEB site.

If Powerpoint is not yet activated that means it is not yet registered or paid for.

The product key you're looking at on the bottom of the computer is most likely for Windows itself, not PowerPoint. Some new computers come with only trial versions of Microsoft Office (of which PowerPoint is part of). First, ensure that you have in fact paid for Microsoft Office. If so, your computer will have come with a seperate set of CDs for Microsoft Office (or just PowerPoint if you did not purchase the complete office suite). There will be a product key on the back of the CD set which should work just fine.

The key under the laptop is most likely for the operating system. If you have a Microsoft Office get the CD key from that. Powerpoint is part of Microsoft Office.
