Cannot connect my headset to PS3. I had it connected to my other ps3, until i sold it and got a new one. Now i cant connect to the new ps3-HELP

*NB: it will ONLY work for communications, NOT for game audio. (lame az, I know!)

1. hold in the headset's power-on button until it flashes red/blue for pairing.
2. Next make the ps3 scan: settings> accessories settings> manage bluetooth devices> register device (yes)> scan and add. (probably passkey 0000)

i use the ex03 also, try starting from the start. go to the headset connection setup on the xmb menu, and delete the ex03 from the list. then hold down the button on the headset till it stays a sold color(not flashing ). then on the ps3 you should see your headset click on it and then enter four zeros. you should now be able to connect . also, make sure the headset is selected in the device use settings .

You must put your headset in pairing mode, prior to making your PS3 search for new devices. To do it, start with your headset turned off. Then, press and hold the MFB (Multi-Function Buttons) for some 8 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit in blue. Now, make your PS3 search for new devices. After a little while the WEP200 should show on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).

when i charge my bluetooth, the light is red for a few minutes but it goes out and its not charging anymore. Please help

From what I understand, once your device is paired you have to go to Audio Device Settings > Input device > select "your headset" > output device > select "your headset. Then click "Connect Bluetooth" icon. Then OK. That should do it.

hmm.
1.well try pressing those little arrow buttons on the top and bottom of the headset.
2.Try charging it until the ring turns green.
3.On your PS3 go into accessories, audio and increase the output volume

I had the same problem trying to connect my old Jabra BT125 headset to my brothers PS3, here's what worked for me:

-Turn on the headset by holding down the button but keeping it down until a solid light comes on.

This puts the headset into discovery mode, you can the start scanning for the device and it should find it.

You have to do 2 things in order to use a bluetooth headset on your ps3. First you have to pair it with the ps3. To do this you go to your setting and register the bluetooth device. Make sure your bluetooth device is in pairing mode when you do this. On most headsets you can simply hold down the button until the light comes on a solid color. once it is in pairing mode you will have to scan for new devices. Once this is done you should see the headset on the list. Choose it and enter your pairing code. If you have not set one it will most likely be 0000. Once it is it paired you will have to change your audio output and input. Go to audio device settings and change the input and output device to your headset name. Enjoy!
