Bad (buldged) caps in power supply, see relevant post.

Look for bulging capacitors in the power supply and replace them. I had the same problem and 3 capacitors and $20 later it was fixed.

When I connect my magnavox blu ray player to my soyo 32" lcd hdtv with audio video jacks my tv screen reads no source. how do I resolve this proble

Purchase an HDMI cable for excellent quality sound and pictures. I suspect the A/V leads will work if you set the TV to the AV channel that is assigned to the AV sockets otherwise you will get a blue screen and no signals.
Hope that clears your problem.

TV will not turn on until I unplug, then plug it back in.

I have the same problem with my Soyo 32" lcd tv. Seems a lot of people do. Soyo went out of business, but I am going to see if it is the capacitors, like several people said on here.

My Soyo DYLT032 has power but no picture or sound

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.

My Soyo DYLT032 has power but no picture or sound

Long story short:
Had the same problem with my Soyo.
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting.
ordered one.  Plugged it in.  Did not work.
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed.  It is located to the right of main processor on the board.  You can't really miss it.
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button.  The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away.
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life!
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem.
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists.
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck.  In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me.  I have a spare now it seems.  ;)
