Sound like you have to restore the phone and if still persist..phone replacement if battery is good.If you have an SD card in phone remove it please. Make sure your picture and contacts are backed up to SD card. This will take phone back like new.
    • Turn off the phone.
    • 2 Hold down the "Volume," "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time. Continue holding the buttons until the 3-D Android logo and a menu of system options appears on the screen, and then release the buttons.
    • 3 Press the "Volume" button to scroll through the menu options and highlight "Wipe Data/Factory Reset." Press the "Power" button to select the option.
    • 4 Use the Volume button again to highlight "Yes, Delete All User Data," and then press the "Power" button. The Event deletes all your personal data and settings from the phone and then returns to the first menu.
    • 5 Highlight "Reboot System Now," and then press the "Power" button to restart the phone. After several minutes, the Event starts up and opens the main screen, giving you the option to set up the phone just as if it were brand new.

A couple options. Haven't tried so you'll have to see if they work.
Try booting into recovery mode and clearing the cache:
1. With the phone turned off, hold the Power and Volume Down button for several seconds until the device turns on
2. Select recovery mode using the volume buttons
3. Clear cache.

You may have to do a hard reset, however:
WARNING: All of your data will be lost!
1. Remove your SD card
2. With the phone turned off, hold the Home and Volume Down button and keep pressing them, then
3. Press and hold the Power button too until the device turns on
4. With VOLUME buttons select wipe data / factory reset
5. Confirm with Menu? key.

Hi if you want to HARD RESET (will delete ALL data) your phone, you can follow this guide:
1)If your Nokia 6500 is powered on, then power it off.
2)Once the Nokia 6500 is turned off, you will need to press down the following buttons: green call button + * button + 3button and keep pressing all three down until a messagedisplays on the phone's screen saying 'Formatting'. Once it says that on the screen, you can let go of holding them buttons.
3)Your Nokia 6500 will be in the process of hard resting itself, when it is finished, your mobile phone will reboot and will ask you to insert the correct data and time.

hi

try to reset your phone

To reset i Phone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If i Phone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn i Phone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of i Phone for a 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset i Phone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
