Assuming that you installed the CD software and plugged the receiver into the USB port.
Try this:
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Keyboard is no longer working. i forgot how to connect to win7

If the keyboard isn't faulty and is a usb keyboard, your computer should recognise it and load the driver.

If it doesn't then restarting without the keyboard and then again with the keyboard should put matters right. If it doesn't then suspect a faulty keyboard or investigate further in the device manager and use the troubleshoot option.

A din or a ps2 keyboard must be plugged in before starting the computer or they won't be recognised.

Laptop keyboard keys

To determine if the keyboard or the keyboard controller is faulty, plug an USB keyboard into the USB port on your laptop. If all the keys are OK on the USB keyboard then the laptop's keyboard is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the USB keyboard also malfunctions then the keyboard controller chip on the motherboard is faulty, then the motherboard needs to be replaced, but this may not be a cost effective solution.

Computer doesn't recognize ez eyes keyboard

unplug the keyboard, go to the manufacturers website and download and install the drivers, plug the keyboard back in.

If that doesn't work

check your device manager and see what keyboards are in the keyboard section. delete anything but the hid keyboard device and the standard ps2/2 keyboard from the keyboard section. repeat the first set of instructions

if that doesn't work either

take the keyboard back it is most likely faulty

My other computer is an acer aspire 7540-1284. the keyboard is not working. it just stopped and has not worked since this afternoon

To determine if the keyboard is faulty or the keyboard controller chip is faulty, connect an USB keyboard to your Acer. If the USB keyboard functions normally then keyboard is faulty then the keyboard needs to be replaced.

If the USB keyboard does not work properly the the keyboard chip on the motherboard is faulty and the motherboard needs replacing. This may not be cost effective and it may be better to get a new laptop.

Check out this WEB site for replacement keyboard.

My logitech keyboard does this èé^ç when I press some of the keys. has anyone got any ideas why

Sounds like a software or hardware failure with your keyboard. Unplug and plug your keyboard into your computer and try typing something again. If it does it again i would have to say there is something faulty with it for sure. To test if its hardware or software failure, borrow another keyboard from somewhere, plug it in and give it a try. If it types correctly its your current keyboard and you should get a new one. If it does it again then get the computer looked at by your local computer technician to solve the problem

Hope this helps
