Question about LG RU-52SZ51D 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I bought a replacement bulb and there is no installation instructions.
First unplug the AC feeding the set look in your owners manual for location of lamp door cover you may need a flat head screw driver. After locating the door and lamp it is just remove old lamp and firmly install new one do not get finger smudges on new lamp or try LG for help on line an online search for their customer website there you should find instructions to replace lamp

SOURCE: 915P043010 have the bulb
Pull the panel off where the speakers are the entire plastic lover comes off. Next, make sure the tv is unplugged and has been off for at least 15 min, preferably longer. See the box with 4 screws take those out... it should have a set of instructions or some sign saying it contains the bulb. Anyway.. after that door comes off, peer inside and you'll see the bulb about 6-8" back and has set screws which must be unscrewed completely before it can come out. Be careful, don't yank the bulb out. Then place the new bulb in, reverse the process I told you, plug the tv in and reset the bulb when it askes if you changed the bulb.
It is really easy on mitsubishi tv's to change them... post back if I can be of further assistance.
