Problem for Handspring Visor Neo Handheld
Communication failure with Outlook when Hotsync-ing Visor Neo

I get an Error 00004011, "error connecting to Outlook" and "root folder open failed;" and 8004010F, "communication failure. MAPI was unable to load the information service mspst.dll. be sure the service is correctly installed and configured." I am running XP with Outlook 2003 and still using an ancient Visor Neo. Failed to sync Outlook Calendar and Contacts. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing software for the Neo as well as a hard reset with no success. has anyone had a similar issue? How do I resolve or is time to get a new handheld?

Hi,
As per your info, it seems that some system file got corrupted / deleted from your system(as .mspst.dll). So request you to reinstall your outlook / XP.
As you can also take some help from below link
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/results.aspx?qu=error+connecting+to+Outlook&av=ZOL120 to resolve the issue by following some defined steps.
