Good Afternoon

The lumbar support wedge should go in the CabrioFix carseat with the thicker part at the back. The idea is that for a very young baby it provides a flatter seat, keeping the spine, hips and neck in more of a straight line than a sitting position. The lumbar support wedge should be used for a newborn baby up until between 4 and 6 months old to provide optimum safety in the event of an impact and to make baby as comfortable as possible while in the carseat.

Can I get replacement straps for the maxi cosi cabriofix?

Your Maxi Cosi CabrioFix can be fitted with new straps.
Since this is directly affecting the safety of the seat the procedure is only available from a Maxi Cosi service center. Please visit a Maxi Cosi dealer to have your seat sent to a service center.
I hope this helps.

Adapters for iCandy Apple are stuck on the Maxi-Cosi seat - any ideas how to get them off?

The iCandy adapters are probably wedged into the slots of your CabrioFix.Try removing them by rocking the adapter back and forth while pulling them out. Don't forget to push the release button on the CabrioFix while doing this.To prevent this from happening again you can use a little silicone spray on the adapters to reduce the friction and allow for a smooth release.
I hope this helps.

Our car doesn't allow us to use the easyfix base (we have a new Citroen Berlingo but it doesn't allow ISOFIX bases with the leg support), so we have to put the cabriofix in our car with the safety...

The carseat has obviously not been correctly installed using the seatbelt as it cannot be removed without undoing the seatbelt if it has been correctly installed. Contact your retailer for a demonstration on correct fitting.

Where can I buy a new shell and newborn headhugger for a maxi-cosi cabriofix?
