First of all sorry for your problem but if you ran the ohms to low it will get hot and even burn up if it dont shut itself down. I like the crossfire amps like a old cfa602 or cfa1000 they are very strong amps and underrated. I do car audio and a lot of people love this amp even the vr602 is great. If you dont have a lot of money go with a ssl3000 its about 160 on ebay

I would definately say, in the world of amplifiers you usually get what you pay for. I would recommend getting a Memphis or MTX amplifier. Go to ebay, specifically search for memphis then in the search options make sure to put in mono or 1 channel. All memphis mono block amps are 2 ohms stable. In particularly I would recommend for you the PR series. it is the Power reference series and they are really boomy for the money. Anything that has the "ST" is getting a little old so I wouldn't recommend it but It still is a good amp, just not sure how long it would last and how badly it's been beaten in the past. Good luck. If you find an amp and are unsure let me know which one and I can help verify it for you.

What does external protection devices activated mean? ( EO code)

these are saftey swithes that are used say if your out door unit fan quits the compressor will run hot and shut off or if your indoor unit is stoped up the unit will run low pressure wich will shut off by the low pressure switch usually if its dirty or low on freon it will come on and off three times or so and will shut its self off.

Amp shuts off then on

It's getting so hot that it's going into thermal protection. Turn down the gains of lighten the speaker load. The more speakers that hook up to it the more power it will put out causing the amp to overheat. Eventually it will burn up some of the output Mosfett Power Transistors.

The fan turned on randomly and will not shut off

A make & model number would help...There could be a number of possible causes. The overheat saftey, depending on the make & model this senses ambiant heat on the frame / chassis, the door sensing interlock switch. Depening on the make & model the control board fan relay. All these could be shorted closed. Depening on how the fan switch is wired the on / off switch or the routing through the control board might be at issue. If the unit has a schematic it may help troubleshoot the issues.

I can't shut off the air coming out the valve on the bottom of the compressor. Is there something that blew out?

Sounds like a saftey valve has gone bad?????? These valves are used to prevent excessive pressure from building up in the tank. They are usually spring loaded by the manufacturer to a specific pressure. Sometimes however.... condensation builds up inside the tank due to the changing ambient temp. Compressors get REAL hot when they build up air pressure...... the higher the psi.... the higher/hotter they get! When a compressor reaches the its proper shut off point it stops, as it cools condinsation has a tendency to form inside the tank...... eventually dripping down into the bottom of the tank, forming a puddle...... which then sits there..... sometimes for a LONG time! This water/puddle is unfortunatelly right where the safty valve is mounted............. in THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPRESSOR! (exactlly where you indicated its leaking air?) in the bottom........???? The saftey valve has probably corroded due to moister inside the tank. Unfortunatelly this is a VERY IMPORTANT SAFTY DEVICE...... & SHOULD BE REPLACED WITH THE PROPER MANUFACTER RECOMMENDED PSI VALUE WHEN IT BEGINS TO HAVE ISSUES. Sometimes...... when lucky...... it can be removed, cleaned, & lubricated..... caution should be observed however..... should any pitting of the metal caused by excessive corrosion be observed during or after cleaning........ it should IMMEDIATELLY be replaced!!!!!!!!!! REMEMBER, THIS DEVICE IS THERE FOR SAFTEY REASONS!!!! DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE BOTTOM OF COMPRESSOR AND INSTALL A PLUG INSTEAD..... DOING THIS COULD CAUSE EXCESSIVE PRESSURE TO BUILD UP TO A POINT OF EXPLOSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY REPLACE VALVE WITH IDENTICAL PSI VALUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps & GOOD LUCK!

MODEL PYGT444AWW GAS DRYER LITES UP OK BUT SHUTS DOWN HEAT TO SOON ALONG TIME TO DRY

there is a saftey relay that might be bad and needs replacing.. this is there for keeping dryer from starting a fire or over heateng.. when the dryer start heating the saftey switch is on and once it stops heating the switch is open and and will not dry.. it could be a heating element once it gets hot it expands and will not heat..

My furnace is not blowing hot air when I turn on

Hi,
Normally if you have a limit switch problem on a hot air furnace it is the manual high limit switch that should be located near the blower. If you lost power while the unit was operating the heat build up will trip this switch.
Normally they are about 2 inches round with a red button in the center. Firmly push the button till it clicks.
Sometimes it can be the high limit switch that is just a saftey switch in case the furnace gets too hot.
If you do not have enough air flow this switch will operate excessively and will eventually fail.
The best way to find the problem is to trace the low voltage control circuit till you find the open switch. This can be challenging and time consuming, especially if you are not used to doing it.

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

What are the circuit board designations (Q111, Q112, Q211, Q212...) for the parts you replaced?

Did you replace the defective parts with identical transistors?

Which transistors are heating up?
