My fujifilm finepix f480 is brand new and i've only used it about 4 times. Without any incident to start a problem, the charger stopped working and the camera wont turn on at all with the battery in it. ...

Looks to me as charger issue. Digi cam dont work if battery is very low... forget about flash. Also check the input voltage for charger as it should be compatible with power supply at your home.

Using battery charger overseas

it's alway suggested that you simply use plug adaptors to change shape of plugs for overseas-do not reduce voltage since most all chargers including yours support 220 or 110

Battery charger

If there is no option of voltage change you need to buy a new one for us. because the US use 110/60 HZ and UK use 220/50Hz. S the problem not only the different voltage it is also the problem of Freequency(50Hz & 60Hz).

Help w/ Sony DSC-S75

If this is your original battery, I believe that it is time to replace it. I had the same battery in my old S85, then my old 707. It finally wore out, with very similar symptoms. Go on Ebay and find an OEM replacement. Don't buy an aftermarket battery for your S75. Buy cheap, buy twice. That S75 is still a great digicam. Replace the battery and continue to enjoy it.

Replacment Battery Charger for DSC-S75?

my S85 uses a AC-L10B power adapter. (pretty sure my F717 does too) I've never seen it for sale so you might have to contact sony directly. Alternatively you can buy a dedicated battery charger instead.
