Hi,
My daughter is leaving on a study abroad program on Monday, so she pulled out her Logictech webcam, (previously installed but not used), attached it, and signed on to SKYPE to test it. It worked the first time she connected with a friend, but subsequent connections do not have video, only audio and a blue screen. Is this the feared "blue screen of death" computers show when they crash and burn? or is there a fix?
Check and see if it works within the software. If it does, then the issue is with SKYPE and you will need to contact their tech support for troubleshooting. If it does not work in the Logitech software, then try reinstalling the software after uninstalling it first. Should even that not work, try a clean boot as explained in this article:

I have the same problem but with a Microsoft VX5000 webcam. It worked great the first time but now there is only a blue screen. Audio is fine.
