My cell phone gets hot

Does it get hot when you're using it or charging it?

If it's when you're charging it, then you should try another charger. If it gets hot with another charger, then replace the battery.
If it gets hot when using it, take it to a repair shop, there's something drastically wrong with it.

Hang, and also charger very hot,

Signs of a dying charger unfortunately, if only the charger is getting hot, try using a different one to see if that remedy's the problem, but your computer is constantly measuring temperature, however doesn't measure electrical surges, I would use with caution.

Hey! My Sister has the same problem. T-Mobile said that it is the battery. There was a defect with some phone batteries. You can buy the samsung battery from T-Mobile for like 48$ of go to cellphoneshop.net to get it cheaper. works great and is cheaper to replace than 48$ samsung battery!!

I have a samsung f480i.. and lately it just died, when i plug it into the battery charger, all it does is keep flashing the samsung logo and gets extremly hot, it doesnt even turn on anymore, just flashes...

If the cell phone senses that the charging is too strong (that is, if the charger is giving too much voltage that could make damage) the cell phone will react with a message tha tcharging is wrong or by blinking until you remove the overcharging item. Also, it could be that the battery is shorting (internally) and causing the charger to react toa short and the cell phone sense this as incorrect voltage, and thereforeis warning that something is wrong. Try the charger problem by attaching the cell phone to someone' elses phone charger and see if it continues, or if you have or can cheaply buy a car charger adapter for the cigarette lighter outlet; this will tell you if the wall electric charger is at fault or it is the battery.. if you still get the same results with the car charger, hopefully you can go to a cell store or a friend and try another battery before buying one. If a different battery does not stop the blinking, the problem is the phone.. if it is ithe phone, try turning off the phone and wait one minute before turning on.

Charger will not charge and charger gets very hot. Why?

Not uncommon for them to die, although they should run warm. Does it get hot when its not plugged in?

If your battery is shorted that can cause a PS to get quite hot. Take a Multimeter and check the output voltage of the PS and see if it is working and outputing the correct voltage.

There are only 2 possibilities, powersupply needs replacement or the battery needs replacement.

Motorola Z3 Rizr won't turn on

when you plug in the charger cable to your phone, make sure that you allow it to charge at least 2 hours, if your phone shuts off immediately after this amount of time, you likely need a new battery, they will wear out after a certain number of recharge cycles.. contact your motorola distributer or motorola website to purchase a replacement. Note do not accept "Non-Motorola Batteries or chargers as these are not guaranteed to provide the proper current necessary to safely recharge your battery, if you notice the battery getting Hot, then disconnect the charger immediately and let it cool, before removing and disposing. Remember it is normal for the battery to be warm to touch while charging or the phone itself is in use. but if it gets hot to the touch this is not normal, and the battery needs replaced..
