Hotsync Outlook with domino connector?

Anyone tried to hotsync with outlook 2003 using the domino connector? Work is using Lotus Notes as the mailserver, MS has a connector for the domino server. I have no issues making Outlook work with it, however the palm one conduits have a problem understanding something, as I'm getting a "Cannot find system file" error (no description as to what file it's even looking for) when I start outlook and when I do a hotsync. I'm somewhat convinced it's the conduit giving grief, but definitely related to the domino connector. I can use an imap account and have hotsync work and not see an error message, although none of the calendar gets synced because of how Outlook treats an IMAP account.
