Hi there! I got this PQI i221 8GB Flash drive for 3 years now of perfect working condition until lately, the light that used to flash during normal operation failed to lit up. It has been detected on My Computer but hitting to open it will tend to pop out a message "Please insert disk X." Please advise me what to do as I dearly need the contents in it. Thanks!

you can use recovery tools for your flash drive.. then when you recover all the data try to format you flash drive..

Are you press ligthly? if press half and ligthly, it will not take the picture.

When you have using macro mode, you need to disable Flash mode.macro mode will show picture(flower) and avoid hand shake during this mode.
When you take in 10cm range in macro mode, it will take more longer time to autofoucus, you need to be freeze a while until it take the picture. The best it, try to take picture in without you inhale. it will avoid you from shage

Try using in different DIS mode when you using the flash.
In some mode, it will have twice flash. First flash it will check the condition and wait until second flash and dont move your camera.

Some condition, you will get the picture is white, it because from dust atmhospheric that we cant see. it reflective to ur flash.for the best picture, you need to try in different mode and different condition. that will make you as proffesional. this camera have many mode that you need to understand. training urself to be perfect. download manual and test your camera

if you already tried different computers, and checked if the USB port is a known good port, then it might be your USB flash drive thats having problems. Check if your flash drive has lifetime warranty thru PQi's website...you might be able to get that 1 replaced..

Just format your flash drive! Before you start formatting your flash drive, transfer all data from your flash drive 'cause when you format your flash drive, it will erase all the data. After you have formatted the flash drive, then you can transfer back the data to your flash drive.

clean your usb port if it does not work open my comp then watch in that window and keep inserting and uninserting until u see my comp reconize it if you have to do the ladder it is time for a new flash drive they do not last forever
