We had 25 out of 30 games that did not work, hubby cleaned contacts of games and machine with cotton ear bud and acetone - all but one are now working!

My nintendo 64 game pack will not fit into the slot of the retoduo

YOU CAN NOT PUT NINTENDO 64 GAMES INTO SNES or NES SLOTS. The retro duo is snes (super nintendo entertainment system) and nes (nintendo entertainment system) only there is not spot for the nintendo 64.

My nintendo 64 is hooked up to the video/audio input on my tv but the screen wont change! it stays blue. how can i play it?

Usually if a Nintendo 64 won't start up even though it's connected properly, it's because the cartridge contacts are dirty. Try blowing out the cartridge slot with canned air, that usually works for me. If that doesn't work, you may also need to clean your game(s).

Cant get nintendo 64 hooked up to flat screen

Wow, the classic Nintendo 64. That was my first gaming system. I do know that the 64 has default RCA cords (Red, Yellow, White). They are required to be inputed into your TV. Make sure the 64 is plugged into a power source and that it turns on. Make sure that your game actually works. Clean out your 64 by using a can of compressed air, do the same to your game.

Finally try to start it up.

If I helped in any way please rate me and help me out.

Thanks,

I got some used nintendo 64 games and i played one of them but then i tryed the other one and it didn't work. none of the other games work now either. someone help me!

Hi, I will be more than happy to try to help you out. First, look at the connectors on the games. They should be very shiny and a light gold color. If not, then they are dirty and need to be cleaned off. I usually use a piece of sandpaper and run it over the contacts on the game. Then take a q-tip and put some glass cleaner on it and clean the contacts off. Then look at the 64, check the contacts inside the system itself and clean them up a little as well.Put a game in, and you should be up and gaming.

My nintendo 64 wont turn on

You can open it up and clean it but its most likely the nintendo software board this runs everything in the system it controlls the Video and sound and sends signals to the controller to make the character move when you move around the control stick if you even could find another n64 that someone could give you for spare parts it would be easier to buy another one on amazon or e-bay for 30 dollars at the most for a system. I hope this helps.

My nintendo 64 console won't turn on

did you try to clean the contacts of the console and the game?if not yet use a smooth sand paper, fold it.about one inch wide is enough, now insert the sandpaper on the cartridge slot and slowly rub the contacts from left to right.maybe 5 to 10 times is enough to clean the contacts.do the same thing for the game cartridge.and try.

Can we play gamecubegames inside the wii console, if so how?

You can do both. With internet you can download Nintendo 64 games on the wii shop channel. For game cube games enter the controller in slot one, enter the game and it's like you don't have a wii!

Note: due to the fact the the wii remote does not have enough buttons ALL N-64 games need a gamecube controller or a classical controller. Game Cube games are not compatible with classical controllers.
