Question about Sony CDX-R3300 CD Player
Hello, I just bought a used truck with a Sony Xplod CDX-R3300 in it. I was listening to the radio and turned up the volume on a good song and volume went through the rooof! In an attempt to keep my ear drums from bursting and blowing the speakers, I turned the unit off by pushing off button in upper right hand corner. Now I cant get the unit to power back up. What do you press to start it up? How do you eject a cd?When you push face plate down it says " eject" with small arrow but what do you actually press? Read where it plays mp3 music? Can I play my ipod Nano through stereo without buying an after market adapter?
I had the same problem. I would just take the face plate off and put it back on, shift it around a little and after a couple DAYS of doing this it would start working again. It did this to me about once a month. Also to eject, slide the eject bar down so its covering the screen, then slide it down til it clicks, wait until the CD comes out before you slide the bar back up.
Once your player has started doing this volume this I suggest getting a new one altogether because it will drive you crazy.
