I saw your chat request, but wasn't able to get to you in time. I generally don't take chats, unless it's specifically in my area. You can request a refund through Fixya. That's no problem at all. They will credit your card back within a few days. If you would like, we can continue and see if we can fix your problem at no charge.

So, all you did was R&R the fan. This should be simple enough. I'm going to venture to say that either the processor isn't seated correctly, or you missed a connector. Tear it back down, pull the processor, blow it out with air, and reseat it. Also check for any connections you may have missed, and reseat the memory. At the initial start, start it without the battery, then reboot with the battery. You did remove the battery when changing the fan, right? Anyway, try this and let me know through the "ask me" tab next to my name.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

No sound is heard with calls on Skype, I get video, and i hear sounds made by the program, but no sound from the recipient of the caller. I get sound when I video chat Mac to Mac, but not Mac to Windows,...

Ok, by the sound of it both yourself and whoever you're calling have not set up Skype quite right.
On your end, you need to:
  • Make sure you have a working microphone - try using Skype's built in 'Echo' feature (try calling 'echo123')
  • In Skype -> Preferences -> Audio, make sure that microphone is selected.
On their end, make sure they've done the same - they must have a working microphone, correctly setup with Skype in order to send you sound.
Hope that helped!

How do i convert a degrees/minutes/second problem using the Casio Fx-115ES calculator? Can you provide an example? Thanks ZH

Use the key above the ENG key to enter a value in DMS form, ending each portion with the key. To convert it to decimal, press SD once (or twice if you get a fraction the first time).

Example: sine of 12 degrees 15 minutes:
sin 12 *** 15 *** =
where *** is the DMS key.

How can i change my voice answering on the phone

Hello, Alex.

Press and hold [GREETING] until “Record greeting after the beep” is
heard.

After the long beep, talk clearly, about 20 cm (8 inches) away from
the MIC (microphone). • The elapsed recording time is displayed. • If you record for over 2 minutes, the unit will stop recording.

When finished, press [GREETING] or [STOP]. • The unit will play back the recorded message.

Hope this helps.
