Question about Projection Televisions

Pioneer projection tv will not come on

Our projection tv went off by itself and it will not come back on. We unplugged it for several hours. When you press the power button, it goes to green clicks and goes back to red.

Hey, i bought a DLP Toshiba HDTV off a guy on graigslist, when i went to go pick it up he turned it on by remote and everything worked fine as it should. When i got back to my place I tried turning it on...

These DLP tvs sometime u unplug suddenly and replug it back wright away,tv will go into protective mode and will not work wright away.Tries tv unplug, replug it back about an hour later, now the tv will reset itself back to the factory setting. The tv should work now.

PRO 510HD PROBLEMS

if you know anything about the tv, take off the back and remove the power supply board. Reflow or resolder the solder points, takes like 2 hours, but is well worth it as my tv works fine now. make sure to use rosin core solder and good luck

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

I had the same problem with my TV, It seems the high voltage trasnformer blew which in turn casued the pin cushion?? to blow. It then shuts the tv off to prevent more damage to it. $500 with service charges to get it fixed!
