If all pictures including the menus appear in double than most likely your T-con board or T-concable are defective. The T-con is located on the upper portion of the rear of the LCD panel itself. Here is a link where the board and the cable can be purchased. Note there are a few different versions of the T-con board and they wil not cross with each other. There is a bar code on the T-con board with numbers that corralate with the correct part number. Follow that before ordereing : )

Double vision

You have a defective panel. There is a pcb on the panel called a T-conn sometimes just this part can be ordered by itself but most of the time it can't.

Tmtmail.co.ukmy samsung projection tv has double vision and i dont know how to amend the lens can yu please help thank you

double vision in a rear projection tv has several reasons. one is convergence magnets are out of tune. u need to tune them which is back side of picture tubes. u please observe that which color is producing the double vision. the lens are firmly fixed & therefore need not to adjust. other option is to adjust the convergence of tv by going to service mode by remote.

HAVE HAD DOUBLE "VISION"/PICTURE FOR SEVERAL WEEKS NOW..

Greetings,

I have a customer with the same problem - it just developed for him. Called Samsung, they have no background information on how often this is happening, but I find it more than coincidental that you just started having this problem.

My customer's installation is well-protected from surge on both AC and coax signal in. Symptom is a vertical shadow (old-style 'shadows' were by nature horizontal) on three different HDMI inputs from four different sources (one HDMI input is A/V receiver switching two sources).

I will post when this gets resolved. I expect a service call will be involved. TV I am dealing with is UN55B7000, a different series from the report above.

Any other posts welcome. Thanks.2a47b01.jpeg080297b.jpegd2597d4.jpeg

Samsung hcm5525w rear projection tv

Extensive analysis revealed this unit to be for 120V 60Hz regions. If you use it in a region where the mains supply is 220/240V 50Hz then it won't work. In addition, the PSU will overheat, with possible damage to other modules.
One possible solution is a 120V 60Hz inverter, else Samsung may be able to provide the correct PSU for 220/240V.

Too much red + double vision viewing

This seems to be a convergence failure on your TV.
If you have hand basic soldering skills and a soldering iron, this might be something you can do.
Check this link for the parts you need.
Goo Luck.
