The "F06" error code is a motor speed problem. The following link explains this for you:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r714929-f06_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

Before assuming you have a failed component, however, UNPLUG the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. In may cases a momentary glitch can generate false error codes. If the problem reappears, follow the advice provided. The most common cause is a failed MCU, but doublecheck everything to be sure.

In the event that you require parts, you can find replacements at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in the model number you provided and you can find the parts you need under the "Pump and Motor Parts" heading. The MCU is listed as item number 1 (part #8182706), and the Drive Motor is listed as item number 16 (part #8182793). You may also try repairclinic.com. Just use the same part numbers for your search. They carry the same parts for less in some cases. I this case, they have the Drive Motor listed for a better price, but Sears carries the MCU for a better price.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let me know if you require additional assistance.

PS Even though these parts seem expensive, a service call can cost you twice as much with the labor costs included.

What does and F6 error code mean on a whirlpool duette front loading washing machine mean and how do I fix it?

Error code F06 means Drive motor tachometer error.
The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.
Potential Causes
1/ Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor ControlUnit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
2/ Check the Drive Motor
3/ Check the MCU
4/ Check the Wire Harness
Replace failed component or contact an authorized repair agent.

Cannot get a spin cycle, washer gets stuck before spin cycle get F6 error code

You will need to access the drain pump first by removing the bottom panel. Open clean-out on pump and check for obstructions. If none, the pump may have a broken rotor, these are the problems related to the F6 code.

Stop frequently on spin and rinse cycle F6 code

I have a Kenmore Elite he4t front load washer that was working fine and then we moved and now it stops washing midstream and flashes an F and a H. I have to pause and restart then it will stop washing again after a few minutes and flash the same codes again. I reset again and then it stops with 1 minute left and will not drain.

I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL WASHER GHW9150PW3 FRONT LOAD WASHER AND THE CODE F 05 IS BLINKING

If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water
temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the “F/05” error code
will be displayed.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check the water temperature sensor. Refer to the
“Water Temperature Sensor” section. Check
connections to the water temperature sensor.
3. Check resistance of heating element, if present on this
model. (abnormal = infinity)

Or just call service! (:

Kenmore HE4t Won't continue drain cycle Code F6 & beeping

Take off the bottom panel (unplug unit first!) and unscrew the cap on the drain cylinder, be sure to have plenty of towels to soak up the water! pull out the center piece and check out all the treasures stored inside. Be sure to use a flashlight and lift up the black hose behind it to get any leftovers in the hose. I just did it today and could not believe how much stuff was in there...coins. pens, buttons, lost of wet lint had it clogged. The clothes finally don't smell!

Kenmore Elite Oasis HE/ Error Code F1

Sorry to tell you but you have a faulty control board. It is a bad part from the factory. They know that its bad too! They have completely remanufactured the part. There is lawsuit against whirlpool (whirlpool made the oasis) for the problem. Some people have been able to call and complain to whirlpool and got them to pay for the repair. Complain a lot. Good luck. sorry for the bad news.
