Samsung Tantus problem

Hi. I've had the Tantus for quite some time & had a problem in the past but had a technician fix it. Was WAY expensivo & I want to know what the problem is now. When switched on, the "stand-by" light flashes green for a little while & then back to red. No picture, no sound. Does anyone have an idea what it could be??

I just put a new lamp in my tv (42" samsung tantus) and the temp light is coming on.

Samsung Tantus used TV says Check Fan # 2 ? and will Not respond to any commands Nor show anything but Blue back ground and Flashing FAN warning ?

I checked that model number and even on Samsungs service portal doesnt have that model number listed which is weird since they have manuals available for all models since the mid 1980's.
Is that the model number or the chassis number?

you need to general service the whole unit. this will include re-soldering and changing some defective components from the board, which has been damaged through using from past years. my advice is to have a quotation from service tech and then think about repairing it..if it is better to buy a new one..

1) Loss of color = bad solder connects on signal board

2) Loss of pix = probable CRT coolant leak onto signal board
Have a technician check it out.....can be expensive......T.
