There is a "System Pack" upgrade for Office 2003 users that is available from the Microsoft website for free. It will allow Office 2003 applications to open and view 2007 and 2010 files. Some of the effects may disappear, like "Reflection" for example, and some objects with text may no longer be editable until they are opened again in 2007 or 2010. For example, a rectangle with text typed into it.
The short answer is for you to get the free upgrade from Microsoft.
Powerpoint 2003 documents can be opened in Powerpoint 2007 (It is backwards compatible)
If you are trying to Open a 2007 document in 2003 there it must be saved in 2003 format on the 2007 system 1st.
Yep. Can also save 2007 files in the 2003 format to do it the other way around. Select the dropdown below the file name when saving.
