Question about LG 37LC7D 37 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

Simple adjustment? When I am connected through "TV" the picture is fine, but when I connnect through "HDMI1" the picture is too large and doesn't fit on the screen. I can't find where to adjust it to make the picture smaller. Sure would appreciate some help. Thx. Rob

Check your T'V's settings on the remote. You should be able to change it from your remote from " standard to zoom" or 16:9 ratio

Switching from HDMI2 watching computer back to HDMI1 to TV channels I have no picture coming on the TV. Why ?

Look if there is a FIRMWARE update for your model of TV and the SAORVIEW.

Many a times, the TV lock in with the frequency and will not release until the proper reset command arrives.

Try switching to a different resolution on the computer before you switch HDMI port

My RCA TV picture will not go off DVI1?

Do a reset to this set, and check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Carnt get normal screen on my tv the picture is always to large

Look for an option in your TV settings that allows you to adjust the screen size, once found, adjust to your actual TV screen and it should in theory fit perfectly.

Picture too large horizontally for screen do not know how to adjust

We recommend you press the [FORMAT] button on the TV remote to manipulate the TV's aspect control. If the screen still does not fit then your cable or satellite box is in a stretch mode.

No picture on hdmi2

First of all connect the Direct TV box to HDMI 2 and see if it works there. If it does then the next step is to connect the DVD player to HDMI and see if it wors there. If not then connect the DVD player to the TV using the component inputs and if the DVD player works on those. If it does then maybe the HDMI interface in the DVD player no longer works as it needs to communicate with the TV.
