We are FIXYA dot com. We are not Telkom. How can you NOT know where you are posting to!!
Phone them for balance enquiries, they are don't to discuss on a website with 11 MILLION annual viewers. You can also get your balance via text message.
The easiest means of obtaining account balances, says Telkom, is via its balance enquiry SMS system. Customers should send an SMS with their 10-digit Telkom landline telephone number, followed by a space and the account-holder's ID number, from a mobile phone to 012 321 0210. Feb 4, 2014
Thanks for writing Fixya. I am Marion and let me help you with this.
The best thing that you can do at this point is to call your network provider which is Sun Cellular to know the right settings, or if your phone supports Internet connection.
You may contact Sun cellular through this numbers:
HOTLINE NUMBERS
For immediate assistance, please contact the Sun Cellular Hotline
*Toll free from your Sun Cellular mobile phone : 200 *Landline : (02)395-8000
PUK code is provided by the Service Provider
Call your Service Provider via another mobile or landline phone then ask them about the PUK code of your sim number
to forward the calls from your landline to your mobile, you have to use a certain code then enter your mobile number. For example, to forward the phone calls from my house line to my mobile, I hear the dial tone then press *72 then my cell number. To cancel this I must enter *73. So it really doesn't matter what type of landline phone you use. I don't know where you live and what the code may be, but you can try it. You can always call your phone provider and ask for the code.
Here is a link that will help. Good luck http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_forwarding
