I'm not sure what do you mean by "your rj45". If it's a model of a router, maybe you mean that you can't get connected you smartphone to the router?
Are you sure SETTING of your phone is activated?
With setting activated, take your phone to a hotspot - site where you have free Internet connection.
If still can't connect it, probably the WiFi adapter circuit (well, anything like that) of your cell phone is failing. an you shouls check it with an authorized repair service.

these version phones are javascript enabled and so thats not the problem with phone. are you in india? In india, due to low connectivity of the internet, it comes connection failed. i too have the same problem with my windows mobile.
Its very simple download and install the latest version of Nokia PC suite. PC suite has a menu "Connect to Internet" As long as your phone connected to PC via USB cable or Bluetooth you will have the connect to internet option working. It will give you also auto setting option as I have tried it with Smart and Globe both of them worked well. You can download PC Suite at www.nokia.com.ph
