Question about Palm Zire 31 Handheld
I have Audible on my Palm Zire31. I've recently reinstalled the Palm softwares on my desktop. When I tried playing my Audible files on my Palm, I get the error message "This audio program is owned by "x". You need to activate your handheld for this account." I noticed that my HotSync manager on my Palm says the user is "y". I've added a new user "x" to my Palm Desktop but still doesn't work. I don't know how to activate my "x" user account. Please help.

Definitely something to address with Audible Digital Rights Management of Audible files is controlled and managed by Audible. In general the way these schemes work is to write some kind of key or token file to your handheld when you first setup your Audble account. Unless the keyfile is present, the player will give you the response you mentioned. With Audible, you can move the authorization from one device to another by deactivating one device and activating another. In your case, you seem to have deactivated your Zire 31 somehow. I suspect that you may have put a new user on the Zire 31 and therefore the DRM keyfile is no longer part of your files on the Zire. It would be associated with the old username and no longer on your handheld. I suspect what you have to do is re-authorize your Zire 31 using the Audible Manager on the PC.
