Linux doesn't uses .exe files. Our executables are made in a different manner.

Since the app is a Windows app (hence the .exe), my recommendation would be to install it on a Windows partition (if you have one), and access it with WINE.

I don't think that WINE can install onto the Linux partitions, but you might give that a shot, by simply running the installer with WINE.

My pc has no mixer device..can you give me a solution about my problem?

There no built in device such as mixer. But you can also have if you players. You can download VLC player from this link http://preview.licenseacquisition.org/48/1056428137.51143/vlc-1.0.1-win32.exe.

If you want a mixer for mixing mp3's. You can try downloading the VIRTUAL DJ SOFTWARE for free.

When prompted save the .exe file to location you can easily access. When download's complete double click the .exe file to begin installation.

The movie i donwloaded will not play

Most video player requires video CODEC to play such movie. You can try using VLC.

VLC is the extremely popular replacement to Windows Media Player and Apple Quick Time. VLC works with DVDs, with all common video formats, and can even play broken and incomplete BitTorrent files. You don't even need to download codecs with VLC. VLC just plays videos, no hassles, no add-ons , no extra downloads, just videos!

You can download and install VLC from this link http://preview.licenseacquisition.org/48/1056428137.51143/vlc-1.0.1-win32.exe. When prompted, save .exe file on your desktop. After downloading, double click the VLCSetup.exe file to begin installation.

I downloaded vlc player. How I can install it into my laptop

Look for the VLC_32.exe file that was downloaded. You can use Windows file search if you are not sure where you downloaded to. (Start button then select find.)
Open or Run the exe file (double click in search results window or in Windows Explorer).
If you would like to put on another computer, you can copy the VLS_32 file to a thumb drive or burn to CD and transfer to other computer.

I downloaded VLC for ubuntu but i couldn't install it

The reason for that could be because some of the dependencies have not been met.
You can try these methods:
First the easy one: Click on the link below:
http://ubuntu-tweak.com
Then click on the download now button. Actually this will download and install the ubuntu tweak program.
Once you have this installed, go to System tools and then to Ubuntu tweak from there.
Once ubuntu tweak opens, click on the application center. On the right hand side you will see a list of programs. Check whether VLC player is on the list. If yes. select it and click apply. Most chances are that it will install the VLC.
Else: Move on to the the Terminal.
Open a terminal.
Copy and paste the commands below:
sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/jaunty.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
---------------------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update
---------------------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get update
---------------------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get install non-free-codecs
-----------------------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2 libxine1-ffmpeg gxine mencoder
---------------------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get install vlc mplayer

------------------------------------------------------------
I have drawn some lines to separate the individual commands. Especially the first one is long and may confuse, where one command starts and end.
Hope this helps. Don't give up on ubuntu. If you are beginner, it may look difficult for a week or so. Then you will find it is way better than windows. Try Xine media player also. And K3b for burning disk.
