I have had two previous profiles with the online dating service RSVP. One being jacaranda8 the other pollyanna6. I have created a new one under the name of sallysue8. I have tried to use my email address but they keep telling me someone else has it probably because i have had the other profiles with them. I dont know how to convince them its mine just under another name

Hi,

From the looks of it, the database of the online dating service RSVP will not allow multiple accounts/profiles for the same email add. This is a typical security measure of most sites that retain username/password tagged to an email address for verification.

A workaround is to create different profiles/accounts with different email addresses but to use an email client (software) that would allow multiple logging in (simultaneously to multiple email accounts). An example is Eudora. The program would then monitor all your different email adds.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

How to delete an email address

Which email account? and adress yours or someone on you email list.
Email addresses: we have one for work, we have one for friends.
We have one for shopping, and sometimes we have one for the dubious Internet deals into which we get sucked.
Sometimes we get spammed so heavily we have to abandon one and get another.
Sometimes our main address isn't professional enough, so we create a new one.
Sometimes we just want to sign up with another service.
Next thing you know, you have more addresses than you can keep track of. It's time to start deleting the ones we don't need.

Access your Internet email provider in which you have the email account you wish to delete.
Type your username, password and then click on the "Sign In" button.
Locate your options button.
With Yahoo and Gmail accounts, it is usually located on the upper right hand side of the page. Click on the dropdown menu and find the "Mail Options" button and click on it.

Click on "Accounts," which should appear on your left top side; this depends on your email provider.
Make sure you do not confuse the "Account" button with the account information option.

Click on "Delete Account" and this should take care of getting rid of your email account.
Remove a Hotmail Email Address
A popular free email service offered by Microsoft is Hotmail. Setting up a Hotmail account is simple; so is closing one.
If your account has been hacked or your email box is inundated with spam, closing the account is an easy remedy.
Before closing your email address, alert friends, family members and associates of your plans. You may want to forward them a replacement email address, if you have one, to stay connected.

Go to the MSN homepage.
Click on the tab in the upper left corner labeled "Hotmail."
Log into your account by typing in your username, password and hitting the "Enter" key.

Click on the "Help" key located at the upper right of the page.
It will appear as a blue question mark.

Select "Table of Contents" from the sidebar on the left.
Click on "Setup a Windows Live Hotmail Account."
Scroll down to "Close Your Account."
It will be located at the bottom of the list.

Click on the link that says "Close Account."

Remove an Email Address From Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is a task manager application that is a part of the Microsoft Office software package.
The application allows users to send and receive emails, create tasks, take meeting notes and store calendar events.
Users can add multiple email accounts by creating different Outlook profiles.
The process is simple to remove an email address at any time and it can also be performed the same way for both the 2003 and 2007 versions of Outlook.

Minimize Microsoft Outlook if you have it open.
Click on the "Start" button on your computer and then click on the "Control Panel" option.
Click on the "User Accounts" option and then click on the "Mail" option.
The "Mail Setup" dialog box will then appear.

Click on the "Show Profiles" button.
The "Profiles" window will then appear and show all of the different email address you have set up with Outlook.

Click on the email address you want to remove.
Hold down the "CTRL" key on your keyboard and select multiple email address if you want to remove more than one.

Click on the "Remove" button.
Close out of the dialog box and the email address will be deleted from your Outlook account.

When trying to log onto my account profile I get the message

I know this is going to sound silly, but, make sure your cap-locks is not on. This has driven me crazy at times. Try creating an alternate profile on Yahoo and see if the problem is present there. If you can use your alternate email, it is a good indication that something in your primary login has been changed. I don't want to sound like an alarmist but someone may have gained access to your password and is messing with you. Once your new or alternate Yahoo email is up and running see if you can import your contacts and address book to your new account from your old account. If you can, I would consider abandoning the old account and use the new account. I hope this helps.

How do i login to old myspace acount

  • If for some reason you can’t access your old email account, you’ll have to email help@support.myspace.com Send them a salute along with the new email address you want to use. If the email is being used by another MySpace profile we can’t use it, so make sure it’s not associated with any other profiles.
  • To create and send a salute here’s what you’ll need to do:
  • •Create a handwritten sign with the word MySpace.com and Include your MySpace Friend/Profile ID number. (Your friend ID is the number after “&friendID=" in your profile's web address/URL. If you can’t login, you can get this info by clicking on your profile)
  • •Get a picture taken of you holding the handwritten sign. Be sure the photo is clear and the handwriting is easy to read. If we can’t read the information and see your face clearly, then we will ask for another salute. (If you do not have access to a digital camera, please consider the accessibility of disposable cameras and digital film processing available at most drug stores)
  • •After you take the pic, send us an email to help@support.myspace.com with the salute attached. You can also provide us with the web address/URL where the image has been uploaded.
  • •Include what you want your new email log in address and password to be. Again, if the email is being used by another MySpace profile we can’t use it, so make sure it’s not associated with any other profiles. Once we receive this information, we will update your account for you.

  • Here's the link for the salute i'm talking about

When you use Exchange , your data is on the Exchange server. You will have to setup Exchange again. Then create a new profile and drag and drop your emails, folders etc. from the Exchange profile to the new profile. Afterwards you can delete the Exchange profile.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

My e-mail coming to me is going to another address sometimes

changing email address will loose only the profile that you created from old email. If your talking about the address book and personal files ( like old emails ). All you have to do is Archive it and open it from the email client (Outlook, Outlook express, Thunderbird, etc.) that you're using from new email address.

Please tell us the email client that you are currently using so that I can tell you where to grab the address book and Personal files from default folder.

I don't know what a profile setting is

    a profile setting is anything that is relevant to you and the way that you use your PC and access the interent: your email address - your favourites folder - time zones - how your PC starts - web homepage etc In fact anything that you choose to set-up about yourself, is your profile. If you use any of the chat/friends websites you will have created a profile setting - that determines whether you want to be seen online, who you want to share info with etc, etc. Get the idea? If your PC is used by more than one person, each person will have their own profile settings: basically, personal choices for using the computer. Does this help explain what a profile setting is? If not, please post again ;-}
