Code f02 indicates that the house drain is slow or clogged. I had the same problem with my machine. To check I ran the drain house out the dryer vent to the yard. I ran the machine and it cycled through.
I snaked out my drain and cleared the J bend of lint and dog hair and now it runs great.
Another problem is that the hose is too high and the sensor that the drain is clogged or slow.
Good luck

I had the same issues and finally found advice that told me to take the bottom panel of the washer off (three little screws underneath). Behind that is a drain filter and pump. Pack around it with towels to avoid water everywhere and then twist the cap open (it is shaped like a dial with a handle in the center). Clear out the filter and pump. Solved the problem.

On a front load maytag washing machine 2000 series it makes it through the wash cycle and starts beeping & stops & shows error codes E3 & F2 what is wrong

F2 E3 means that your program inside hte CCU (central control unit) is corrupt and unfortunately the CCU will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue. If you pull the washer forward and remove the screws coming in from the back of the top panel, the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. Then you can access the CCU in the front right corner mounted to the right side wall.

I get a f05 error code on my maytag model#mfw9600sq1

This is a drain error code. Lucky for you there is a kick-plate at the bottom with 3-4 screws at the very bottom. Remove the kick-plate and you'll see the drain pump with a round access port. (sometimes I have to use a pair of pliers to open this up - turn counter clockwise). Note: Any water inside the unit is going to come out so be prepared. (bunch of towels needed) The water will probably stink really bad too. Once you open that up hopefully you will find debris blocking/clogging up the unit. If so put it back together and TA-DAA! You're done!

Now, if you find nothing you'll need to replace the pump.

pt# 280187

Here is where you can purchase part.
Appliance Parts

The reason these pumps burn out so often is because the impeller is made of plastic and it only takes a customer not checking their pockets once to have a penny come out and into the pump causing damage. Even if you are lucky and find debris in the pump and able to get it working again you may want to consider replacing the pump anyways.

I have a Maytag front load Mod. # MFW9600SQ1. When

This is actually a fill error, it appears when the tub should be filling and is not being sensed. Make sure that both hot and cold water is turned on. Since you do see water coming into the tub this is an issue related to your pressure switch. It sounds odd but this can also be caused by a siphoning drain so check to make sure your washers drain hose has only a little over a foot into the drain otherwise this may cause it to siphon and throw up the same error. If the water is on and the drain hose checks fine then I would guess your gonna have to replace the pressure switch but right now my money is on the drain hose being shoved to far down in the drain pipe. Hope this helps.

Does not drain error code f2

There is a block in your pump, you have to locate it, dismantle it & remove the block. Plug off the wall first.

Maytag Centennial: Not starting, maybe lid lock issue? How to install new magnetic lid latch? then is replacing lid lock next or could it be something entirely different? Help, please, and THANK YOU! I have a Maytag Centennial washer MVWC450XW3 that quit working last week. In hindsight, I could see that there had been a history of "stuff" going on with the washer, all around the lid lock;i.e. - last time it worked I had to select a couple of different cycles before it finally started. SO Far, I have tried to get the diagnostic codes but failed a bit at that. I THINK that I was getting an F5E1 error. I was however at least able to access the diagnostic menu, and notice TWO things: No matter what, the Lid Locked LED never comes on, ever. Next thing I notice is when I do a short cycle diagnostically, it never agitates or spins. It fills various temp water, does not agitate, then it seems to suck the water back out. IN the end, I ordered just the magnetic part of the lid lock (the part that is actually on the lid) because I could see mine was rusted all the way away, but am not too sure how to put it on. Therefore I just put it in the slot where it would go if I had installed it. Incidentally II asked my ma if she had noticed anything going on with the washer and she said No at first but then with prompting (she's 81) allowed that she had indeed noticed something wrong with the lid shutting so she had cleaned out that "little hole"{ very well and oiled it to make sure it was working. So again my two main questions are: How to install the lid latch, do I need to take out all of the screws around the glass? and Should I next move on to buying a lid lock part or could it be something entirely different?
