If you are referring to the switch at the door panel, you would need to remove the panel itself. You would need a screwdriver and a rag. The screwdriver is for you to get the screws out and the rag is used to cover the screwdriver (flathead) when prying the panel off the door to avoid scratches. The panel is attached to the door via the screw and clips surrounding the door.
Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Please perform the following to gain access to the window motor.
- Remove the door trims, they are secured by plastic snaps so you will just have to pull them off carefully, be sure to look if there are little screws that needs to be removed.
- Once you removed the door trims, carefully remove the connectors of the power windows behind the door trim to pull it out thoroughly.
- Remove the plastic that's covers the door frame.
- You will need a 10mm socket to remove the glass and motor that mounts to the door frame
- You may now replace the power window motor and do the procedure vise versa on installation.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
