If this is a problem with a sears craftsman table saw, you may be able to downlaod and exploded parts view from the instruction manual, often found at http://www.managemylife.com/
You'll need to have the model number handy. If you can't find your saw, look at comparable models and you may find the mechanism is similar.
Some handles have a pin that must engage in the shaft in order for the handle to actually crank the gears on the trunnion up and down...perhaps that is also missing? I'm afraid without more to go on I can only make guesses, and I'm not that familiar with craftsman saws.
Good luck.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Engine on 30"Craftsman 2009 snow thrower won't prime. Primer button and connecting tube look good. Primer button won't send gas to the carb.

the priming bubble can look totally perfect, but all it takes is a pin hole and right around the retaining ring is hard to spot a crack and you should also check fuel lines in tank

Gear shift feels like a pin fell out. Seems to be flopping around. Won't engage in any gear.

Look at the tube the shifter goes into, is there a pin in a hole there? If not find it and reinstall the pin that retains the shift arm to the steering column barrel.

My ring fell behind my husbands dodge truck behind the dashboard, I tried sliding my fingers by the crack but I can't feel anything ughghhh I'm wondering where it could have gone? Should i have...

There isn't a black hole in trucks that make things disappear. If it fell into the defroster ducts it's going to take some work to get it out, but I'm sure it's in there somewhere. May have to remove the dashboard and ducts to locate it. It won't be a fun job, but if the ring means that much to you, you don't have much choice.

Blade stops spinning

It most likely is the gears that are bad. Usually it sounds real bad first and you can hear the grinding gears. Sometimes spindles snap. You might have a hard time buying parts for Craftsman stuff. And often times it might not be worth it. First take the blade and flanges off. Around the spindle there should be screws holding the spindle hub onto the body. Un screw that and take a look inside. (There might be a retaining ring holding that on too)

If you can see broken gears or metal shavings inside, then you'll need new gears. Always replace the two gears that run together as a set. And of course replace the grease so you don't have metal shavings in there.

Something fell down in the lint vent. I didn't know it and turned it on. It made and awful noise and now it won't work.

That something is probablly now jammed in the blower fan. T o get to it you need to remove the front of the dryer and you will see the fan blades in the lower left corner. To do this: unplug the machine, open the door and remove the 2 screws that are located in the top of the hole. this will release the top of the machine, lift it up and then remove the 2 screws that are inside the front panal at the top 1 one on each side this will allow you to tilt the front panal outward and lift it off the 2 fingers that hold the bottom in, be carefull and don't yank on the wires that are connected to the door switches. look in the fan husing and recover whatever it was that you threw down there reverse the process for reassembly

Have Breadman TR2200c. The red drive shaft "seal" in the bottom of the bread pan seems intact. The drive shaft stopped turning. I forced it out of the shaft tunnel, and the clip was rotted. 3...

I think you're going to have to take out the seal and put a new retaining ring on the shaft to keep it from falling out the bottom. If you're lucky you'll be able to pull out the old seal without destroying it.
A 5/16" external retaining ring should do the trick. Hardware store or Lowes should have 'em. Depending on how difficult you find it to force the ring down into the well in the pan to put in the shaft's groove, you may need a retaining ring pliers. The cheap ones from Harbor Freight (around $3) work fine.

My rotating polarizing filter fell apart and I can

Hi,
Based on the fundamentals of retaining rings, The filter lens probably fits into the ring housing first, and the retainer ring is inserted inside of the ring, following the lens. The retainer will need to be compressed in order to fit inside the ring, but will snap into a groove once in proper position.
I hope this is helpful... Good luck.
