SOURCE: I have Outlook express for

If you want to access to your email account using another mail program like yahoo or similar you have to go to settings at Yahoo and set in Yahoo your outlook express account like a POP account.

To do that you have to put there your mail servers names (pop (incomming) smtp (outgoing) of your outlook express account.

To find that data.......

You will find the name of your mail servers doing this:

Open your Outlook Express then Go to >> Tools >> Accounts >> Mail >> Properties >> Server

See which is your POP mail server
and Which is your SMTP mail server

Insert that data on Yahoo to get your outlook express working from there.

Don't forget to rate this help, have a great day! :-)

SOURCE: how to logout from outlook express

You need to disconnect your session. Make sure the authentication method is set to user/password and not based on your windows credentials automatically. This will force anyone trying to access a mailbox to input their credentials.

Cant recieve emails

Who is your email provided by? AT&T? Yahoo? Hotmail? Gmail?

You need to go to www.google.com and in the search box type your provider and search for the settings that should go with outlook express. For example if my email is provided through Yahoo. I would type in the search box "yahoo mail and outlook express". You will see how to configure the PoP3 and SMTP for sending and receiving mail through outlook.

Before doing all that it just seems like your problem might be that you have the wrong password in the outlook setup for PoP3. Edit your settings in Outlook and make sure you have the correct password. I think you click tools or edit when you have outlook open to get to the email accounts and edit the settings. Do this first and you can test it to see if it is working.

Cannot send/recieve mail outlook express

If you have installed Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, it will set itself as your default mail client. Hit the Windows ball or Start button on the lower left of the desktop - All Programs - Outlook Express. When it opens; hit File - Export - To Outlook (Messages). Outlook Express will export all of your messages, contacts and account settings to Outlook 2007 and you will be able to use the better, upgraded Outlook Mail client.

I GOT INTO THE WRONG AREA, OUTLOOK EXPRESS ON MY PC CAME UP WANTING ME TO ENTER POP3 FOR SEND AND SMYP FOR RECIEVE ON EMAIL STUFF I BELIEVE. SCINCE THEN I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS MY EMAIL MY EMAIL...

Do you want to use Outlook Express to access your yahoo mail? It is Web based so you can access it online.

If you want to use Outlook Express then you need to enter the following details for standard Yahoo Mail::

    Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)
    For Yahoo Plus:

Yahoo Plus Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)

Yahoo Plus Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465, use authentication)

Outlook Express Send Mail Error

I've had the same problem, and my way to fix it was to turn of the firewall and check if it worked, and it did.
When I was sure that the firewall was my problem, I gave accsess to Outlook Express manually through my firewall.
I can probably help you with that to, but then I have to know what firewall/anti virus program you use (if you got one at all?)
